Face Philosophy:
Proper Joint Function

If there is a problem with the TMJ (Temporomandibular Joint), it may lead to serious problems, like overstrain of facial muscles, teeth erosion, gum recession or even respiratory problems like Sleep Obstructive Apnea. For a healthy function, mandibular joint has to be properly aligned.

Functional Occlusion

The relationship between the maxillary (upper) and mandibular (lower) teeth when they approach each other is called occlusion. In case of problems, it may cause headaches, teeth erosion, loss of teeth, gum recession or bruxism among many other things. The goal is to provide a proper function and bite.

Anterior Guidance

The shape of frontal teeth is evaluated and they are carefully placed in order to get a proper bite.

Facial Aesthetics

This principle evaluates facial proportions such as lips, gums and teeth and it makes sure everything is properly aligned.
